Competitor data

Privacy

What the competition platform records and why.

01

Account

Name, email, academy, experience and optional public-profile links are used to operate your account, teams and rankings links.

02

Event entry

Division choices, date of birth, competition category, declared weight and grade are used for eligibility, safe placement, capacity and event administration.

03

Waiver and minors

The accepted waiver version, time and network address are recorded. Under-18 entries also record guardian name, email, self-attested checkbox evidence and authorisation time. The website does not independently verify the guardian's identity or email address.

04

Payments and Event OS

Stripe handles card details; this site stores payment references, amounts and states, not card numbers. Organisers export necessary registration data to the event-running system.

05

Optional media choice

Each event entry records a separate yes/no choice for identifiable promotional photography or filming. It defaults to no, does not affect entry, and is a guardian choice for under-18 competitors.

06

Public bout results

A published event result can identify competitors by name, division and bout outcome, including under-18 competitors. Authenticated result exports are retained privately, but names remain hidden unless the organiser has explicitly approved the public-results and safeguarding process. Current public display: not commissioned.

07

Control

Account, registration and audit records are access-controlled. Ask the organiser about access, correction or deletion.

Commissioning requirement. The exact crucible-privacy-v1-2026-07-14notice must be approved and its controller/contact, retention, lawful bases, recipients/transfers, rights/withdrawal/ICO complaint and children's-information sections must all be published within the configured limits before live checkout is ready.
Public results commissioning requirement. Competitor names and bout outcomes stay private until the organiser approves the disclosed safeguarding process.
